Michael Stay
American cryptanalyst and reverse engineer. For five years was one of the principal developers on Google’s Caja project, a virtualization layer for web browsers. Co-designed the security model which was later adopted by ECMAScript 5 --- every modern web browser uses it. Also wrote the rules for an ES3-to-ES5 transpiler that inserted security hooks and the runtime security library to support it. Has published papers on cryptanalysis, algorithmic information theory, thermodynamics, quantum computation, and higher category theory.
